Business Development Manager
StrikeIron is seeking a dynamic, high energy Business Development Manager to assist in developing new and existing channels within its technology partner ecosystem. This role will have a heavy emphasis on business partnership negotiation and execution, sourcing, evaluating new markets and technologies, and channel management.
Responsibilities:

Respond to partner inquiries, from initial inquiry to ongoing success
Requirements:

1 – 4 years experience in a business development role

Be able to apply software and Internet technology to create opportunities

Strong knowledge of strategy setting, business development and proposal process

Knowledge of online business models and Internet technology

Past experience and success in software or Internet Business Development

Proactively keeps up to date with Internet and technology trends

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong presentation skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude

Ability to meet multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment

Willingness for up to 50% travel

Partner Marketing Manager
Responsible for creating and managing company’s partner marketing programs to drive business leads through print, online and event marketing channels.
Responsibilities:

Investigate and develop new marketing opportunities with partners
-
Manage and promote joint marketing programs with partners, from marketing campaign concept to creative content development and program execution, including webcast events, online and direct mail campaigns

Develop program guides, collateral and sales training materials for internal and external uses
-
Design and execute partner marketing plan for new product launches, including partner beta testing, education, press releases, collateral, and events
-
Create joint value proposition and marketing message with partners, incorporate into and partner-created collateral for customer and sales use

Author monthly external newsletters
-
Develop and maintain online content hosted on and partners’ external websites, intranets, and sales databases, including partner directories, profiles, alliance program resources, partner landing pages, etc.

Develop and deliver partner PR story concepts and supporting content
-
Analyze and report on lead generation results for all applicable marketing programs
Requirements:
- BA or BS degree required, MBA a plus
- Previous partner/channel marketing experience required
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible work style
- Experience with cross functional teams
- 4-6 years experience in software marketing
